Current Undergraduate Lab Members:

Frankie Rivera

She is pursuing a B.S. in psychology with minors in criminal justice and music. She was born in New York City but has lived in the greater Houston area most of her life. She is the first in her family to attend college, and after graduation, hopes to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. Frankie’s research interests include acculturation, cultural effects on human relationships, child and developmental psychology, in addition to how these fields relate to forensic psychology. In her free time, Frankie enjoys playing the euphonium, reading, trying new foods, and watching TV.

Mai Le

Mai is a junior undergraduate student at the University of North Texas. She is currently pursuing a B.S. in Psychology, with a minor in counseling. Her research interests include attachment styles in children of immigrant families, identity development patterns in multicultural individuals, and intersectionality. Outside of school, Mai enjoys embroidery,  going to art markets, and reading. In addition, she likes to be involved in the community, and volunteers at The Art Room during her free time.

Erica Edmonds

Erica Edmonds is an undergraduate at the University of North Texas, currently pursuing a B.S in Psychology and a minor in Addictive Studies. She plans to earn a master's and eventually go back to school for a doctorate. They were born and raised in the Dallas, Texas area, but she hopes to move across the country to counsel children and adolescence that struggle with substance use, gender/sexuality discovery, acculturation, and/or coping-related difficulties. Outside of school, Erica spends her free time drawing, painting, going on walks, and spending time with loved ones.

Sucharitha Palathoti

I am Sucharitha Palathoti, an Honors College student and undergraduate at the University of North Texas majoring in Psychology and minoring in Legal Studies. I currently serve as an undergraduate research assistant in the Cross-Cultural Attachment Research Lab (CCARL). My academic interests include psychology, human behavior, and research. I have been recognized for my academic achievements by being named to the President’s List twice and the Dean’s List once. I plan to pursue a master’s and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. Through my research experience, I hope to continue developing my academic, research, and professional skills.
