Francheska Brinkley is a Lecturer in the Department of Criminal Justice at the University of North Texas and a doctoral candidate in Criminal Justice at Tarleton State University. Her teaching emphasizes applied learning and helping students connect criminal justice research and theory to contemporary issues and real-world practice.
Brinkley also is the advisor to the Criminal Justice Student Association (CJSA).
I love animals and have a small zoo at home: three cats, a dog, a fish, and a lizard.
Criminal justice policy and system improvement, with particular interests in harm reduction, policing and practitioner perspectives, victimization, and community-centered approaches to criminal justice.
