| Freshman & New Student Orientation | Varies | A program designed to help students become acclimated to the University. During orientation, you will have the chance to meet with faculty and staff, meet your new classmates, connect with current students, learn about university resources, and receive academic advising in preparation for registering for classes. |

Appointments become available on a rolling basis at a maximum of three weeks in advance. This means that there are appointments added nearly every day!REMINDER: All students in their first semester at UNT, as well as students who are on academic alert or probation, are required to meet with an advisor prior to registration. Incoming first-time-in-college and transfer students must attend orientation to meet with an advisor and register for courses.
Who is my PAHS academic advisor? You choose…seriously. We have a great PAHS Advising team to help you. Students can choose to schedule appointments based on availability or look for a time with a specific advisor. We are also in the process of hiring more advising staff to help you. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
