About
Xiaolei is an assistant professor at the College of Public Affairs and Health Sciences at the University of North Texas. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2021 with a Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Counselor Education. Before joining UNT, she served as the Director of Training at the Illinois Institute for Rehabilitation and Employment Research (IIRER) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Xiaolei's Research focuses on disability grief, supported employment for people with psychiatric disabilities, and international rehabilitation. She also specializes in providing grief support for children and adults.
