Stephanie Garza

Stephanie is a proud UNT Alumnus. Her time at UNT facilitated an exciting career path that included traveling and working with performing artists and musicians, artists relations PR, civic services PR, advocating for emancipated foster youth, and helping thousands of students on their journeys to successful and fulfilling careers. She has experience working with students at vocational and technical schools, Pre Med, Pre Law, Allopathic Medical Students (MD and MD PhD) at schools like the University of Southern California. She has worked in Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, Career Counseling, Academic Advising and Counseling, as well as Higher Education Administration. After many years working at UNT, she deeply enjoys her work with undergraduate students and helping them remove barriers to reach their goals.

Stephanie is from Denton. She loves documentaries and reading. She enjoys crafting, puzzles and video games. Listens to music of all types. Enjoys history, anthropology, archeology, medical research, physiology, philosophy and geeks out over higher ed research and institutional policies.
